At What Time Does An Auction End?
Every auction comes to an end when the timer on Bid2Lead's servers reaches zero.
Why Is It Necessary To Add Time To The Auction Clock?
It is added to the clock every moment there is a bid placed. This gives a chance to someone else with a higher offer to bid if they are interested. This is like counting “Once, Twice, SOLD” in the traditional auction approach. The time added depends on a specific auction and can vary between 0 to 25 seconds.
How Can One Buy Bids?
The first step is to register on the platform. Once you have registered, you click on the tab “Buy Bids” which is located on the top menu. A bid is always $0.20 and usually comes in Bid Packs. The next step is for you to select the Bid Pack that is right for you. Follow all the instructions on the screen until you are through with your purchase. You can use American Express, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Discover. At this point, you are ready to start bidding in the several auctions available.
What Is The Procedure Of Bidding?
There are two ways in which bidding can be done. The first method is for you to click the “Bid” button. Under normal circumstances, you bid will be recorded. If you are the highest bidder, your username will be shown as the highest bidder unless someone outbid you. When someone else outbid you, keep clicking the bid button until you are the highest bidder.
Another method is the automated technique called the Bid-O-Matic. This is a feature that enables you to bid while away from your computer. All you need to do is just to set the limits, the number of bids you want to participate and finally when to start bidding.
How Can I Access My Bidding History?
You can access your bidding history by clicking “Dashboard” link then go to bidding history. When you click it, you will be in a position to access all the bids you have placed and even the outcomes of all bids.
Why Is It That At Times I Place A Bid But I Do Not Appear As The Highest Bidder?
This is a very common scenario that happens when someone places a bid immediately after you. The Bid2Lead’s servers places the bids based on the exact time the bidder clicked. Therefore, if someone places a bid immediately after you, you will automatically not be the highest bidder.
